Our friendship goes back a long way - over 40 years! Where has the time gone?  Before we were all married on that memorable wet and wild camping weekend in The New Forest - saved by the pub nearby to dry out and warm us up! It was all right for you and Rick with your blow up mattresses and quilts etc. It was a fun packed weekend and we can recall that your breakfast was a highlight. Please note we have never returned to The New Forest!?! Then of course all the fun times spent with you both in Lower Addiscombe Road, Coombe Road, Portugal and Australia. Recalling your trip to Sydney with Jamie. It never stopped raining but that did not stop us getting out and about. We are not sure that it has rained quite like that since!! Weather wise it seems as though a theme is developing?!? Plus of course we had the regular trips to the pub, The Two Brewers on a Friday evening where we girls could catch up after our working week, whilst the guys downed a beer or two. Other memorable times at the old pub in Chiddingston when drink / drive and seat belts were not a consideration and more recently for a very civilised lunch at The Little Brown Jug (no rain sight) which ended with Jane’s firm favourite, Eton Mess. Lots and lots of happy memories of Jane, always smiling. X
